ABOUT

Rhubarb is headquartered in Toronto and started out as a feminist-friendly print-based Q&A site. Now, the site will feature only videos, beginning with a series focusing on the differences (or similarities) in the lives of women from the same family—but different generations. Were they raised alike or not? How do their attitudes toward feminism, pop culture and current events differ—or how are they the same? To what extent are their opinions informed by age and the country or city they grew up in?

While no longer a Q&A site, Rhubarb’s primary goal remains the same. So many experts, pundits and critics in the media are men, and Rhubarb hopes to be part of the movement to change that. Our goal is to provide an outlet for women of all ages and backgrounds to express their thoughts on a variety of topics.

Any questions, complaints, concerns or general comments can be directed to contribute@rhubarbonline.org.

THE RHUBARB TEAM

Despite the misleading and frequent use of words like “we” and “our,” Rhubarb is a one-woman operation. Find out more about editor Shetu Modi here.
